FASTR

Analytics for
health systems.

FASTR turns routine HMIS data into the figures, tables, and briefs that health programmes need to make decisions.

What it is

A platform for ongoing, rapid analysis of routine health data.

FASTR (Frequent Assessments and Health System Tools for Resilience) is a Global Financing Facility initiative that helps countries use their routine HMIS data to monitor reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition services.

The FASTR platform works with real programme data and produces the figures, tables, maps, and slide decks that health programme teams need to monitor services, communicate results, and support decisions.

How it works

FASTR's core strengths.

I.

Built for real programme data.

Inconsistent period formats, overlapping disaggregations, and population denominators handled automatically.

II.

Presentation-ready outputs.

Consistent tables, maps, and slide decks that are ready to share.

III.

Built for teams.

One tool for analysts and decision-makers. Results that are easy to reproduce and share.

Methodology

Open methodology.

The FASTR methodology documentation walks through the full process: identifying questions and indicators, extracting and preparing data, assessing data quality, estimating coverage, and communicating results.
